Since the beginning, my favorite thing about Love in the Time of Monsters was the setting. Call it what you will, I couldn't get enough of the idea of this schlocky, overly branded roadside attraction (I have a history, so it shouldn't be that much of a surprise). So as the production started rolling, the thing I was most excited about becoming a reality was the all-important logo for Uncle Slavko's All-American Family Lodge. Our art department of Jon Bell and Chole Arbiture did not disappoint:
I don't know about you, but if I saw that while driving down the freeway, I'd totally stop. I might immediately leave, but I'd at least pull over for a picture. But I like cheesy good times.
Things are just heating up over here on Planet LitToM as our edit get closer to picture lock and we start thinking about premieres and stuff. Stay tuned to The Twitter, The Facebook, and/or The YouTube to keep up-to-date, lest you be the last kid on the block to know what's going on.
